Japanese movies are usually badly done, and Western animation is usually pretty bad. How I see it America dominates the movie scene, Japan dominates the animation scene. ![]() A couple of times they actually USED STILL FRAMES and moved the monsters, liked cardboard cut-out. The scenery / backdrop was drawn by Japanese animators though, and it shows, very detailed. Every cliche in existence for space movies fit, too. I mean the movie was ok, but the art style was.horrific. ![]() The characters faces never change.the scenery is static, and walking is drawn like the characters are on skates or something. I remember why I dislike Western animation for non comedy animation. ![]()
